Service de livraison de saunas préfabriqués

1. Warranty Coverage

Kodiak Saunas warrants that its saunas are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of one (2) year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, natural weathering, wood cracking, splitting, drying of knots, or other natural wood characteristics. Some water exposure may occur in rainfall; this is normal and does not compromise the wood.
  • Stoves, heaters, controllers, or other accessories, which are covered under their respective manufacturer warranties. See Section 5 for stove warranty registration.
  • Damage, defects, or performance issues caused by misuse, negligence, improper care, or failure to follow the Maintenance Requirements (4) .
  • Any costs associated with electricians, plumbing, or other installation-related labor. These costs are the sole responsibility of the client.
  • Structural or performance issues resulting from an improper, unstable, or shifting foundation. Saunas must be installed on a properly prepared, level, and stable surface.
  • Reinstallation, relocation, or disassembly of the sauna after initial setup. Any such action voids the warranty.
  • Repairs or modifications performed by any party not expressly authorized by Kodiak Saunas.

3. Limitations of Liability

Kodiak Saunas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the misuse, improper operation, or failure to follow the recommended guidelines for use of our sauna products.

4. Maintenance Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, the sauna must be maintained as outlined below:

  • Strap Tightening: Inspect and gently tighten barrel straps regularly to prevent warping.
  • Wood Care: Stain or finish the sauna every 3 years with a high-quality, exterior-grade product.
  • Snow & Ice Management: Keep the roof clear of snow and ice during winter. Excessive accumulation may compromise structural integrity.
  • Cleaning: Clean the interior periodically using mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  • Ventilation: Ventilate the sauna after each use to prevent mold and mildew.
  • Seal Maintenance: Inspect silicone seals every 3–5 years and replace if signs of wear appear.

Failure to follow these guidelines may void the warranty.

  • Kodiak Saunas reserves the right to inspect the sauna before approving any warranty claim.
